Timing the American Economic Apocalypse - Astro-Economic Alert #18

Many respected economic participants[1] have prophesized the downfall of the US economic system but are unable to give accurate timing information.

Lao Tzu, a 6th century BC poet observed, "Those who have knowledge don't predict. Those who predict don't have knowledge."

As both a close follower of the financial markets and a world class astrologer I make the following predictions for the US financial system[2];

1. The Federal Reserve will be dismantled or substantially reorganized in 2009 with peak periods of transformation occurring 8 Jan 2009, 10 July 2009, and 10 November 2009.

2. Extreme problems with housing AND the US’s perennial good luck and excesses associated with food will occur in the period March 2009 through November 2011[3]

3. A cataclysmic US market bottom in real terms, will occur about 2010[4].

A few solutions

1. The cyclic Dow:gold ratio peaked in 2000 at about 50:1 with the Dow at 12,000 and gold at $250. Since then the ratio has been headed toward its normal opposite extreme of 1:1.

2. The US is in the beginnings of a long term commodity uptrend[5].

3. The transmogrification of the Federal Reserve will likely entail a repudiation of US debt and creation of another currency to replace the already much devalued US dollar which has strong potential to become worth less[6].

4. …”the paper mark totally collapsed in value against foreign currencies and gold, which encouraged wild speculation on the foreign exchange and stock markets, during which smart operators and large industrial groups accumulated large fortunes at the expense of small savers and the working class.”[7]

Tedious details follow

A confluence of 4 major astro-energetic aspects to the horoscopes of the Federal Reserve and the US will restore balance to our severely warped financial system and re-create the US on a financial foundation roughly equivalent to the rest of the world’s major nations. After its long unrequited sins of Empire are atoned for the US, as a North American Union in concert with Mexico and Canada, will rejoin the ranks of the world’s 8 to 10 wealthiest nations at about the mid-point of the prosperity scale. Its capital will be Omaha.

1. The Federal Reserve System – a privately owned debt kiting scheme masquerading as a US Government bank entity - will be dismantled or substantially reorganized in 2009 with peak periods of transformation occurring 8 Jan 2009, 10 July 2009, and 10 November 2009[8].

2. In the period March 2009 through November 2011 the US horoscope is subject to a 250 year astro-energetic cycle that last occurred in 1517 and 1763 indicating strong foreign involvement in its affairs[9]. Additionally, extreme problems with housing AND the US’s perennial good luck and excesses associated with food will occur.

3. On 22 February 2005 the US horoscope suffered a significant and negative long-term astrological energy in its area of personal finance[10]. The Fed came into being due to the last occurrence of this twice-every-360-year aspect – the Fed’s demise is presaged by the recurrence of this astro-energetic.

This aspect energy occurred once before in US history on November 12, 1907, the time of the Panic of 1907. It took the US Government almost 7 years to come up with attempted fixes to the extreme liquidity squeeze of 1907 which led to a wholesale revamping of the US economic system with the establishment of the Federal Reserve Bank system[11] and the imposition of the income tax. I predict that although there were no obvious economic events in February 2005 that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac both blew up in a derivative meltdown that was hidden from the public and FNM and FRE debt were probably converted to Treasury bonds by the Fed and the US Treasury.

4. The USA remains under the thralldom of a recurring, significant and negative astrological aspect[12] whose direct 4 year influence ended about the end of 2006. Previous 4 year activations occurred in 1782, 1815, 1859, 1906, 1943, 1968, 1986 and will occur again in 2028. By inspection, this aspect influence has brought about large geo-political change to the US. Succedent economic hangovers from these changes last for many years afterwards. In the 1968 aspect the full impact of the devaluation of US currency to pay for the Vietnam War – remember silver quarters, big clunky half dollars, occasional silver dollars in circulation? – did not cause a stock market bottom until 1974. Current fiscal imbalances are a result of irresolution and mis-resolution of the of the 1970’s imbalances which, in turn, arose from the 1960s Texan guns-and-butter Presidency.

A few additional conditions

1. The United States is now bankrupt - unable and unwilling to repay its long accumulated debts of empire.

2. The US is NOW under the de facto authority of a military-industrial-Congressional dictatorship.

This picture was taken from the third story balcony of Saint Stanislaus College located next door to Our Lady of the Gulf church in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi on the morning of August 29th, 2005. This is believed to be the initial tidal wave from Hurricane Katrina. The tidal wave was approximately 35 to 40 feet high. When it slammed into the beach front communities of Bay Saint Louis and Waveland Mississippi it completely destroyed 99% of every structure along the beach for 9 miles and over a mile inland. The destruction only started there. Since 1803, for instance, there have only been five mega upmoves in commodity prices, lasting about 22 years on average. The sixth mega upmove is just beginning and it's coinciding with the war on terror, just as previous upmoves also coincided with wars.
